Rod is VISTA’s President & CEO, and provides vision and leadership for the company, develops corporate strategy, and oversees financial management. Before taking this current role in 2013, Rod had served as a Director on VISTA’s Board for 10 years. He has over 30 years of corporate executive experience including 15 in the government contracting industry. He was formerly a Managing Director with The McLean Group, an investment banking firm and President of The Columbia Group, a government contractor. Rod has had unique success with acquisitions, business integrations, divestitures, financings, recapitalizations, joint ventures and new business initiatives. He serves on the Executive Advisory Board of the Acquisition and Business Policy Council of the Professional Services Council. Rod graduated from George Washington University with high distinctions and a degree in accounting.
Hal began his career at VISTA in 2008 as Program Director, and was promoted to Vice President in 2012. In his current role Hal ensures that VISTA delivers on its commitments to our clients and partners as well as growing revenue and profitability by developing strategic growth opportunities across new geographies, customer bases and market segments. Prior to VISTA, Hal worked at EDS and Unisys. He also had a successful 20 year career with the U.S. Army performing analysis, personnel management and development, and full life-cycle management for information systems. He holds a Bachelor's degree from Norwich University.
Jason joined VISTA in 2019 as Vice President for Corporate Development. In this role he oversees the business development function and leads the planning and execution of growth strategies for the firm. Prior to VISTA, Jason gained 28 years of federal and international market experience while at MCR, LLC. His roles at MCR spanned from analyst, to project and contract manager, to senior executive of operations, business development, and corporate strategy. Jason is recognized for solving analytical problems, identifying and capitalizing on emerging customer needs and market trends, building and leading teams, and transforming organizations and their market image. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Economics and Business Economics (Econometrics) from UC Santa Barbara.
Cynthia serves as the VISTA Human Resource Director and Facility Security Officer and focuses on the management of recruiting and staffing, career development and performance, employee orientation and training, policy development and documentation and employee relations for the company. Prior to VISTA, Cynthia worked at NSM and CenterScope Technologies, Inc. Cynthia has over 26 years of experience in the human resources field and has been a Facility Security Officer (FSO) for 23 years. Cynthia possesses a BS in Business, is a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and is a member of the Society for Human Resources (SHRM).
