VISTA Hires Managing Director for San Antonio, TX Office

VISTA has hired Paul Wright as Managing Director of the company’s second office in San Antonio, TX. Wright began work on September 24, 2007, and will have profit-and-loss, business development, and local hiring responsibility for the office.

“Paul has the best possible credentials for this position,” according to VISTA COO Larry Lincoln. “His background with the Air Force, and his experience in facilities maintenance, financial planning, and project management will provide strong foundation on which to build VISTA’s business in San Antonio. We’re glad to add Paul to the VISTA team.”

Most recently an Associate with the consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton, Wright has over twenty years experience as a U.S. Air Force Civil Engineer. He has significant construction and facilities maintenance experience, with specific skills in in civil design, financial planning, and environmental management. He is experienced in Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and Military Construction (MILCON) budgeting, funding, and project execution, and has worked extensively with the Corps of Engineers and the Naval Construction Battalions. He is an expert in disaster preparedness planning and disaster response.

In his tenure at Booz Allen Hamilton, Wright validated cost-to-complete environmental projects for the Air Force Real Property Agency (AFRPA) and provided project management support to the AFRPA Headquarters relocation by developing facility analyses, cost estimates for force protection and facility renovations. In his Air Force career, Wright also served as the Infrastructure Development Manager, Hickam AFB, HI, during which time he provided oversight and planning for construction of 17 military construction projects worth in excess of $176M.

Wright holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor of Science Civil Engineering (BSCE) degree from the US Air Force Academy.

VISTA’s San Antonio office opened September 1, 2007. It is located in the Tetco Building, 1777 NE Loop 410, in San Antonio, TX.
