VISTA to Provide ARCHIBUS Software and Services to the Department of Health and Human Services in Washington, D.C. and to Bexar County, TX.

VISTA, the leader in decision support analytics for lifecycle asset management, will provide ARCHIBUS software implementation and related consulting services to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in Washington, D.C. and to the county government of Bexar County, TX. VISTA’s recently opened San Antonio office will manage the Bexar County effort. The value of the two contracts was not disclosed.

“VISTA formed a strategic alliance with ARCHIBUS earlier in the year because of the sustained market leadership of the ARCHIBUS real estate, infrastructure and facilities management software suite,” explained Ray Summerell, VISTA VP of Corporate Development. “Our confidence in ARCHIBUS as both a company and a product enabled VISTA to quickly enter the market with immediate solutions for state and federal government clients.

“We’re confident that these initial implementations mark the beginning of long-term mutually beneficial relationships with both Bexar County and HHS,” Summerell said.

For both clients, VISTA will be providing software implementation and support services related to asset lifecycle management. In the case of the Bexar County government, VISTA will provide assistance in maintenance needs assessment and work management processes. VISTA also will provide training for supervisors, dispatchers and managers, and will offer on-call assistance for customized facilities maintenance reporting requirements. For HHS in Washington, DC, VISTA will be providing a broad range of implementation support services.
