FRPA Elects VISTA's Kimberly Price as President

VISTA Corporate Development and Marketing Associate Kimberly Price has been voted President-Elect of the Federal Real Property Association (FRPA).

Price takes the helm of FRPA from Hillary Johnson, vice president of Jones Lang LaSalle in Washington, DC, who served two terms as leader of the professional organization. The election was held December 19-28, 2007; Price formally assumed the duties of the President in January 2008.

“We could not be happier for this much-deserved recognition of Kimberly’s contribution to the profession,” said VISTA President and CEO David Baxa. “In a comparatively short time in federal real property, Kimberly already has made a substantial contribution to the FRPA through her energy, enthusiasm and commitment. She has the potential to leave a legacy of achievement that will elevate the FRPA’s status for years to come.”

Among Price’s responsibilities as FRPA President include officiating at the organization’s monthly membership meetings and the annual Professional Development Conference. The membership meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at the Herman Miller showroom and offices in Washington, DC. The Professional Development Conference will be held May 6-7, 2008 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, also in Washington, DC.

Price also coordinates and oversees the FRPA’s annual member survey, which reports on trends in federal real property asset management compliance. Now entering its third year, the survey’s findings are presented in the form of a White Paper at each year’s FRPA Professional Development Conference. Price is a graduate of The University of South Alabama, where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. She is a regular contributor to “Managing Change” newsletter, authoring the newsletter’s “Legislative Outlook” column.
