VISTA Wins Army BRAC Management and
Implementation System Contract
Value of Contract Nearly Half-Million Dollars
Herndon, VA (5 AUGUST | 2005) - VISTA Technology Services, Inc, (VISTA), a leader in real property asset management consulting, has been awarded another new contract from the U. S. Army, for expanded work on the Base Realignment and Closure Management and Implementation System (BMAIS).
The value of the contract is $426,682.58, and work is to be conducted through the end of December 2005. VISTA anticipates contract renewal at the conclusion of the current term. The prime contractor for the agreement is Alexandria, VA-based MPRI.
BMAIS is application software developed by VISTA to support the program management of Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC)-related activities. Under the terms of the agreement, VISTA will provide on-site Data Managers to the Army for four of seven Installation Management Agency (IMA) Regions. One Data Manager will be on-site at each of the following locations:
- Ft Monroe, VA (Northeast IMA Region)
- Ft McPherson, GA (Southeast Region)
- Rock Island Arsenal, IL (Northwest Region)
- Fort Sam Houston, TX (Southwest Region)
The Data Managers will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the integrity of information related to the Army's inventory of facilities in these IMA regions.
