Stephanie N. Reichlen, PHR
Director, HR and Corporate Communications
Ms. Stephanie N. Reichlen is responsible for the strategic planning and management of business communications and branding tactics at VISTA, as well as overseeing all aspects of the company's Human Resources activities. She ensures that VISTA's mission, vision and goals are consistently supported in the company's external communications programs, and facilitates cooperation among VISTA's internal stakeholders.
Ms. Reichlen has served as VISTA Technology Services' Human Resources Director since a management buyout established the company as an independent entity in 2003. In that transition, Ms. Reichlen was instrumental in successfully instituting a robust human capital program for the newly independent company.
She successfully implemented a new performance management and career progression program, revitalized the employee bonus incentive program, developed a strategic new employee orientation program, and greatly enhanced the employee recruiting program. In addition, she began the process of creating an organizational development and succession plan to help ensure VISTA's continuing success by developing, to the maximum extent possible, talent from within to assume the responsibilities of more senior members of the management team who choose to retire over the coming years.
Prior to working for VISTA, Ms. Reichlen worked in human resources management in both non-profit and commercial retail markets, developing her expertise in recruiting, benefits management, employee development and training.
She is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). In that capacity, she initiated and helped formulate an event for HR professionals to learn what it means to become more strategic in their roles. In 2006, she was honored by the HR Leadership Awards of Greater Washington as a Finalist in the Small Business Category for her work at VISTA.
Ms. Reichlen holds a Bachelor's degree in Interpersonal and Organizational Communications from George Mason University.
