Steve Darner

Steve Darner has over 20 years experience in Federal program management, business development, marketing and sales, with an emphasis in financial asset management strategies and planning. He has vast experience in creating innovative contracting arrangements with his Federal sector counterparts to return the best possible value to the client agency, at the best possible cost.
At VISTA , Mr. Darner's responsibilities include development of new senior-level business relationships with Federal sector clients, negotiation of contracts, preparation of proposals, financial management and market research.
Having most recently served as Vice President, Channels with TKC Communications, Mr. Darner creates dynamic methods to implement Federal IT policy, interacting directly with DoD and civilian agency IT Directors, Deputy Directors, Program Mangers, and IT Acquisition Centers.
Mr. Darner has developed long-standing relationships with organizations including Defense Contracting Command-Washington (DCCW), Department of State (DOS), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), GSA IT Acquisition Center, and DOI GovWorks Federal Acquisition Center, among others. While at TKC Communications, Mr. Darner was responsible for a $200 million open-ended indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract from DOI National Business Center for DoD procurements, and a $100 million open-ended IDIQ contract with DOD Project Contracting Office (PCO) in Baghdad Iraq.
Mr. Darner is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a BA in Philosophy and an MBA in Marketing and Finance
