VISTA: Then, Now and Tomorrow
Over 20 years, VISTA has continually grown and evolved to adapt to the increasingly sophisticated demands of its clients:
- Capabilities including real property asset analysis, real property portfolio management, requirements analysis and improvement planning.
- Development of enterprise systems, data interoperability, portals, data warehousing, and custom Web-based applications.
- Consultation in best practices, policies and procedures, decision support models, facility planning and analysis, and enterprise information solutions.
VISTA got its start in 1983, as part of the Systems Group of the architectural engineering firm Henningson, Durham & Richardson (HDR). That's when the group first began developing an integrated data system of unit and organizational demographics for military facilities and resource planning.
Amperif Corporation acquired the HDR Systems Group in 1988 and during the next four years the group solidified its reputation for real property asset analysis and planning. The group was subsequently purchased by General Analytics Corp., where our growth accelerated as clients came to understand the quality and value we consistently deliver. In 1997 the group became part of the initial acquisition of a private equity-backed company where it became known as VISTA Technology Services, Inc. Then in the fall of 2003, VISTA's established, seasoned management team bought the company and retained the name.
If you're interested in transforming your real property inventory from a must-pay bill to a bottom-line benefit, VISTA is the perfect fit for your contracting needs today. And with an unmatched background in information and real property asset management, VISTA is the top choice for creating the streamlined, transformed government and business processes of tomorrow.
