Then, Now and Tomorrow

We got our start in 1983, as part of the Systems Group of the architect engineering firm Henningson, Durham & Richardson (HDR). That's when we first began developing an integrated data system of unit and organizational demographics for military facilities and resource planning.

Amperif Corporation acquired the HDR Systems Group in 1988 and during the next four years we solidified our reputation for real property asset analysis and planning. We were subsequently purchased by General Analytics Corp., where our growth accelerated as clients came to understand the quality and value we consistently delivered. In 1997 we became part of the initial acquisition of a private equity-backed company which became VISTA Technology Services, Inc. Then in the fall of 2003, VISTAtsi's established, seasoned management team bought the company and retained the name.

Since becoming an independent company in 2003, we have achieved an annual revenue growth rate of 20% and our employee head count has more than tripled. VISTAtsi has been recognized regionally as one of Washington Business Journal's list of the "Top 25 Small Technology Companies" as well as Washington Technology's "Fast 50" small business in the Government market. Our CEO, David Baxa, was also named to the Smart100 List of top CEOs in the Washington metro area. We are proud to be a leader in Federal "Green" initiatives and sustainable building practices.

Going forward, we believe we have a bright future with continuing solid growth prospects. We have concentrated on the federal marketplace and have the flexibility to respond to changes as that market evolves. We see ourselves as an enduring company building on the strategic objectives and succession planning we have instituted.
