ODTUG Kaleidoscope 2009 Session Explores Integrating DHTMLX Components with Oracle APEX
Herndon, Virginia (April 21, 2009) -- VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTAtsi), an employee-owned real property and asset management consultancy specializing in decision support analytics, announced today that senior consultant and solutions architect Bharat Pappu will share his expertise on Oracle APEX during a hands-on training session at ODTUG Kaleidoscope 2009, taking place June 21-25 in Monterey, California.
“This event is considered by many to be the premier conference for developers in the Oracle community,” remarked VISTAtsi President and CEO David B. Baxa. “We are pleased Bharat has been recognized among an international group of his peers for his thought leadership on Oracle APEX.”
The Oracle Development Tools User Group (ODTUG) is an independent, not-for-profit global organization providing education, support, advocacy, and networking opportunities for developers who work on Oracle Databases. ODTUG Kaleidoscope is the group’s annual conference, which brings together more than 900 Oracle developers, architects, developmental DBAs, managers, and decision-makers representing both public and private enterprises.
“Developers attend ODTUG Kaleidoscope to learn, to share, and to find out more about the latest products and services,” explained Pappu. “I am proud to address the Oracle development community and showcase real-world examples of integrating Oracle APEX with DHTML products.”
According to ODTUG, when Oracle Application Express (APEX) was first released in 2003, it was commonly viewed as a tool that could be used to build small, trivial applications. Since its early days, APEX has grown in both the number of users and the level of sophistication of the applications it’s able to create. Oracle APEX is now being used in every industry to address and solve mission-critical problems.
In his session titled “Integrating DHTMLX Components with APEX,” taking place June 23rd at 8 AM PDT, Pappu will show developers how to enhance the look of their Oracle APEX Web application by integrating it with one of the best DHTML and JavaScript UI component libraries. Pappu will provide live demonstrations with both small and large datasets and share some tips and tricks to overcome potential performance issues.
