VISTAtsi Insights on Oracle APEX Featured at Mid-Atlantic Association of Oracle Professionals (MOAP) Conference
Herndon, Virginia (February 10, 2010) -- VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTAtsi), an employee-owned real property and asset management consultancy specializing in decision support analytics, announced today that Solutions Architect Bharat Pappu will share his expertise on Oracle APEX as a presenter at the Mid-Atlantic Association of Oracle Professionals (MAOP) Conference. The presentation takes place at 1:45 p.m. ET on February 19th, 2010 at Oracle Corporation in Reston, Virginia.
"We are pleased Bharat Pappu continues to be recognized among his peers for his thought leadership on Oracle APEX," remarked VISTAtsi President and CEO David B. Baxa.
In 2009, Pappu shared insights and best practices on Oracle APEX with developers from around the world at APEXposed and OTDUG Kaleidoscope, premiere events for Oracle developers and architects. He continues showcasing real world examples in 2010 with the MAOP Conference.
"Developers attend the MAOP conference to learn how to better utilize the Oracle development tools," explained Pappu. "I hope to give them some tips to add sizzle and style to their Oracle APEX Web applications, through integration with one of the best DHTML and JavaScript UI component libraries."
Pappu will draw on examples from VISTAtsi's work on the Army's Real Property Planning and Analysis Systems (RPLANS), an automated planning system that supports master planning efforts at all levels. In 2008, the system was upgraded from a client-server legacy system to a web-based system using Oracle APEX. Since its early days, Oracle APEX has grown in both the number of users and the level of sophistication of the applications it's able to create. Oracle APEX is now being used in every industry to address and solve mission-critical problems.
